Authorised Users
Only authorised users (the students currently enrolled at the UIC and UIC staff members) can use Learning Resources Centre (LRC) resources and facilities.
Users are obliged to present ID cards upon request.
Users are responsible for any item issued on their ID cards.
ID cards cannot be loaned to others for any use.
Food and Drink
No person shall consume food or drink in the LRC.
Users in violation of this policy will be asked to remove food/drink or leave the LRC.
Smoking is forbidden anywhere in the LRC.
Noise
No person shall produce any unnecessary noise in the LRC.
Cell phones must be shut down or turned into vibration/silent mode while in the LRC.
Conversation in the areas of circulation desk, reference desk, and group study rooms should be kept at a reasonable volume.
Sleeping is not allowed in the LRC.
Books and Journals
Users cannot remove any LRC material without checking them out at the Circulation Desk or without authorization.
Users are required to use library materials with care.
Marking, noting, or defacing library materials is prohibited.
The loss of any item shall immediately be reported to the LRC staff.
Use of periodicals, reference materials, and new arrival books must return them to the appropriate shelves after use.
Other Facilities
Please keep the LRC clean and tidy.
Do not move tables and chairs.
Do not put your personal belongs on tables to reserve seats.
LRC computer systems and services must not be used in an obscene, harassing or improper manner.
Take care of LRC property and equipment. Marking or mutilating activities are not allowed. Appropriate fine shall be levied for replacement of damaged facilities.

图书借阅证
学习资源中心主要服务于联合国际学院的师生和其他经授权的人士。在学习资源中心员工要求用户出示证件时，请出示相关证件。用户对自己的借阅证负有相关的经济及连带责任。请不要将借阅证借给他人使用。
食物
为保持一个安静舒适的学习环境，用户不能在学习资源中心内吃东西和饮用饮料。违反规定的用户，将会被要求将食物或饮料拿出学习资源中心或离开学习资源中心。
严禁在学习资源中心内吸烟。
噪音
请不要在学习资源中心内大声喧哗。
在学习资源中心请关闭手机或将手机调整到静音或震动模式。
在借阅台，参考咨询台，小组学习室，电脑学习室等处，请尽量低声说话。
请不要在学习资源中心内睡觉。
书刊
严禁用户在未办理借阅手续的情况下，将书刊携带出学习资源中心。
请爱护所借阅的书刊。严禁在书刊上做笔记，涂改和损毁书刊。
如果将学习资源中心的书刊丢失，请立即通知学习资源中心。
在期刊区，参考区，新书展示区，请用户将阅读完后的书刊，放回到原处。
其他设施
请保持学习资源中心整齐和干净。
严禁随意移动和搬移学习资源中心的座椅和其他陈设。
严禁用个人用品预留学习座位。
学习资源中心的电脑是供学生学习所用。严禁用学习资源中心的电脑下载、浏览不健康和非法的软件及网站。
请大家爱护学习资源中心的设备。严禁任何损毁行为，违者将会处以相应的罚款。
