What services do we provide?

Circulation Services

Current UIC students and staff can use your UIC ID as Learning Resources Centre cards to borrow, reserve, renew and request the resources. 

Reference Services

The Learning Resources Centre provides reference services from 9:00 to 17:00 during office hours. A Reference Librarian is available to answer queries about searching for books and information, conducting research for your assignments and assisting in citation of your research papers. You also can place an information request via Ask a Librarian on the Learning Resources Centre website. 

Information Skills Trainings

The Learning Resources Centre has a series of information literacy training sessions. These courses aim to improve students¡¯ information literacy skills. Students have the ability to access, evaluate and effectively use the information in the academic study.  

Study Spaces

The Learning Resources Centre has over 300 seating spaces. Also, the Learning Resources Centre contains the multimedia learning room, the learning common, the group study area.

Photocopying & Printing

Photocopying and printing are provided with a charge of RMB 0.50 per page.  Please attend the detailed price list at the Circulation desk.
